ΝΕΑ ΥΟΡΚΗ. Η είδηση για τον αιφνίδιο και πρόωρο θάνατο του ευπατρίδη, αγωνιστή του Κυπριακού και γενικότερα των εθνικών μας θεμάτων και ευεργέτη της ομογένειας και της Κύπρου Ντίνου (Κωνσταντίνου) Ιορδάνου προκάλεσε σοκ στην ομογένεια. Το μοιραίο συνέβη λίγες ημέρες μετά το επιτυχημένο ετήσιο συνέδριο της ΠΣΕΚΑ στην Ουάσινγκτον και ουδείς μπορούσε να πιστέψει ότι ο δυναμικός αυτός ηγέτης – αγωνιστής δεν υπάρχει πια ανάμεσά μας.
Ο Ντίνος Ιορδάνου, όπως έγραψαν οι «Αναμνήσεις» ο οποίος απεβίωσε λόγω καρδιακού επεισοδίου την Κυριακή 16 Ιουνίου 2024 σε ηλικία 71 ετών.
Πληροφορίες αναφέρουν ότι τις προσεχείς ημέρες θα διοργανωθεί προσκύνημα στην Βόρεια Καρολίνα και εν συνεχεία η σορός του θα διακομισθεί στην ιδιαίτερή του πατρίδα, στο Μαθιάτη της Κύπρου, όπου τον αναμένει για τον τελευταίο ασπασμό η 93χρονη μητέρα του.
Ο πρόεδρος του Παγκυπρίου Σύνδεσμου Αμερικής και της Παγκόσμιας Συντονιστικής Επιτροπής Κυπριακού Αγώνα (ΠΣΕΚΑ), κ. Φίλιπ Κρίστοφερ και ο πρόεδρος της Ομοσπονδίας Κυπριακών Οργανώσεων Αμερικής, κ. Κυριάκος Παπαστυλιανού εξέδωσαν ψηφίσματα μέσω των οποίων αφ ενός μεν εκφράζουν την θλίψη και την οδύνη, αφ ετέρου εκθειάζουν την προσφορά του αειμνήστου στην ομογένεια και στην Κύπρο και εξαίρουν το σπάνιο του χαρακτήρα του, την ευσπλαχνία, το φιλότιμο και την φιλαλληλία του.

In Memoriam Constantinos (Dinos) Iordanou 1950-2024
The Pancyprian Association mourns the sudden passing of Constantinos (Dino) Iordanou. A founding member of our organization and a member of the Board of Trustees. They say death is a part of life but when it is sudden and unexpected, it is absolutely devastating!
We all remember Dino as part of our (1975-77) championship teams; the young man with lightning speed and a deadly right foot shot. We all remember his business acumen that revolutionized the insurance industry and made the name Dino synonymous with success.
The Dino we love the most is the Cypriot young man who came to America seeking the American dream. The Dino who never forgot his roots, culture, heritage and Cyprus. Dino the philanthropist, benefactor to our association and numerous religious and educational institutions.
Dino, the great family man deeply in love with his beautiful wife, Maryanne, and his three wonderful daughters, Danielle, Alexandra and Christina.
Dino, the loving Grandfather (pappou) carrying pictures of his grandchildren; Dino, the eldest son of a brave wonderful Mother, Iphigenia, caring for all members of the family and finally, Dino, the Patriot always fighting for the cause of the Cypriot people for Freedom and Justice.
May you rest in peace Dino! We will continue to carry the torch of Freedom for Cyprus! May his memory be eternal.

Dear Members and Friends:
Constantine (Dinos) Iordanou, a beloved pillar of the Greek Cypriot American community, unexpectedly passed away on June 16, 2024, leaving behind a community in mourning for a truly unique individual.
We are deeply saddened by the loss of a devoted family man, an outstanding businessman, and a generous philanthropist. Dinos embodied the highest moral values, serving as an authentic leader who inspired by his example. His unwavering commitment to the values and ideals of our proud heritage will be deeply missed. Dinos will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. While his physical presence may no longer be with us, Dino’s spirit will live on in the memories and the impact he’s made in our community.
May Dino’s soul rest in peace, and may his memory continue to inspire us. Dinos left us far too soon and will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Our heartfelt condolences to his loving wife, Marianne, his three daughters, and his entire family.
