GREEK AMERICANS FOR HARRIS-WALZ
WE ARE PROUD MEMBERS OF AN American community with a strong and distinctive cultural heritage of democracy. We believe our collective voice matters to preserve and advance the ideals that strengthen our community and country. This is why we are endorsing Kamala Harris for President of the United States.
In our great nation of immigrants, our families’ stories and Greek heritage embody the American Dream. This November, whether America remains a shining city on the hill is on the ballot. The values of filoxenia (hospitality), filotimo (honor), eleftheria (freedom) and demokratia (democracy), central to Greek American identity, are reflected in Vice President Harris’s life and career, making this election not just about policy but about preserving the ideals that strengthen our community and country.
We stand with Vice President Harris in her push for strong border security and comprehensive immigration reform that is fair, just, and humane. Her commitment to maintaining a robust NATO ensures global stability and the safety of America, Greece and the world. Her bold climate initiatives will protect our planet, preserving the cultural heritage, natural beauty, and economic stability of America and Greece. Above all, we know that Vice President Harris and Governor Walz are dedicated to defending democracy and its essential virtues — freedom, honesty, decency, compassion, compromise and collaboration — which undergird our national and economic strength and stability.
COMMITTED TO OUR SHARED VALUES OF DEMOCRACY, FREEDOM AND OPPORTUNITY

B”H It has taken the confrontation with the prospect of an end to America’s democracy, decency, welcoming nature to immigrants for a group of successful Greek Americans to arrive at the obvious only choice for President: the election of our first Black woman President, the Honorable Kamala Harris on November 5! Our compatriots are themselves of immigrant stock, and in the previous candidacies, 2016 and 2020, our disgraced and now convicted, 34x, felonious 45th President, most anomalously, had their support. At least one billionaire and the fallen leader’s friend, John Catsimatidis, still clings to the child-man who would undermine our Constitution, prosecute politiical opponents, massively detain and deport refugees, and implement the reactionary provisions in Project 2025. It’s welcome that the MAGA fever has the promise of breaking among Greek Americans with the initiative of these swath in the community. May this close encounter with the worst candidate in American history become a cautionary warning for responsible citizenship: seek naturalization, register and participate in public affairs, and never forget to vote! With fraternal affection, Asher 🙏😊🇺🇸🎶🇬🇷
